Live in the Community? Why not support us by becoming a Community member?
Community Membership is open to everyone who:
- lives within “our Community” (see postcode list)*; and
- is over 16 years old and eligible to vote in local elections.
To become a Community Member you need to apply to become a member (see below) and buy 1 Community Share for £1.
You’ll be kept up to date about us and the Lenzie Public Hall project. You can vote at our AGM and stand for election to our Board as a Community Director.
To apply to become a Community Member, simply:
- complete and sign our membership form (see below)
- pay £1 via bank transfer for your Community Share; and then
- email a scanned or photographed version of your completed form back to us at lenziecommunityhall@gmail.com.
If you wish to pay your £1 by cash or would like a printed or more accessible copy of the form to complete, please email us at lenziecommunityhall@gmail.com.
If we were ever to wind down, you would be liable for £1 (the cost of your Community Share).
Our Board considers membership applications regularly and will contact you once your application has been reviewed.
