We need a Comms Team – up for being part of it?

We’re looking to build a friendly and creative Communications Team to help share the story of Lenzie Community Hall and reach more people in our community.

Whether you’re experienced or simply enthusiastic and willing to help, there’s a role for you.

Key tasks

You could help with one or more of the following:

  • Social media
    • Facebook posts
    • Twitter/X posts
    • Instagram posts
    • YouTube videos (our “social media wizz”)
  • Website support
    • Designing and updating our WordPress website (website wizz)
  • Print and promotion
    • Designing posters and flyers
    • Helping distribute them locally
      (the more people involved, the greater our reach)
  • Creative work
    • Artwork and visuals (digital or freehand) (art wizz)
  • Media and press
    • Liaising with local media
    • Helping with press releases and coverage
      (press wizz – ideal for someone with comms or media experience)

Who we’re looking for

  • People with communications, media, design, or digital skills
  • Creative thinkers and organisers
  • Anyone passionate about helping the community hall thrive

You don’t need to do everything — even helping with one small area can make a big difference.
